Because 50% of the impact of the textile industry is due to production, we produce in a more ethical way

        1. in slow fashion, we don't overproduce

This is the opposite of fast fashion (industrial fashion that overproduces). The concept of slow fashion is part of a gentle movement (slow attitude) and rethinks the way we produce and consume fashion. This approach not only pushes us to create better quality, eco-designed and sustainable clothes. But it also pushes us to rethink our production and sales forecasting methods:

        • We always start by ordering small quantities to see how our products are received

        • We'd rather have a shortage (and therefore miss a sale) than over-order

        • We reward those who pre-order our products. Why do we do this? Because you help us to order the right quantity

        • Our collections last at least 2 years: we do not impose the frantic rhythm of a collection per season

        • This production policy allows us to respect 2 rules that we impose on ourselves at the Lab: no sales and no stock destruction

        2. the right materials are selected

        • Natural and sustainable materials such as organic cotton are preferred. If the product requires a synthetic material such as polyester (wadding for the sleeping bag, for example), recycled materials are preferred.
        • We trust the textile labels and in particular the Oeko-Tex® label
        • We trace our materials as much as possible

        3. we create products that last

        • We took our time to develop products that tick all the boxes: practical, useful, stylish. We tested our products with our community of parents to bring you the best of the best in terms of practicality!
        • We focus on quality
        • These are products that are used more and longer, that evolve with the child or that have several functions. The Swiss Army knife of nursery !
        • The designs are mixed and timeless. We promote fashion for everyone, regardless of gender. And you can easily reuse, donate or sell the products.

4.we produce with love in Portugal and France

        • First of all, we want to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible and therefore minimise the transport of goods
        • Secondly, the human factor is at the heart of our approach: we work with companies that guarantee regulated working conditions in accordance with European standards
        • This is why we carefully choose partners who share these values and who take action for the environment

        5. packaging is kept to a minimum

        • The packaging of our products is as simple as possible and uses sustainable materials (recycled plastic polybags, etc.)

        6. we anticipate the very end of life of products (as late as possible)

To be able to recycle clothes, we choose single-material fabrics. Why is this? The industrial recycling process unfortunately does not allow for the separation of different fibres when they are mixed in the same product. For example, a garment made from a mixture of linen and organic cotton cannot be recycled and reused to make another garment. In our house, we therefore prefer 100% cotton (organic of course)
